How offline sync works
Caregiver opens Tendara
Schedule, client info, and care plans are cached locally via Service Worker. Even without internet, the app loads instantly.
Clock in, complete tasks, add notes
GPS is captured from the device (GPS works without internet). All visit data saves to IndexedDB on the phone.
Signal returns — auto-sync
When connectivity returns, Tendara syncs the queue automatically. Visit records, EVV data, notes, photos — all uploaded in order.
Pending indicator
A clear sync status indicator shows "Offline — changes saved locally" so caregivers know their data is safe.
